Iam not pretty sure but ....for me Newton's Law of gravitation
Newton was the first to propose that there was a force of attraction between matter. He called this force gravity somewhat to counter Aristotle's explanation that things rose because of "levity". Newton said things fell because of gravity.
Any quick change of direction requires a powerful force (according to Newton's Second Law).
Excellent question! It doesn't tell us much.

No he had 3 laws of motion and 1 law of universal gravitation.
The Physics of a satellite is the same as Newton's Laws for the earth. GM = rv2 = r3 w2 where M is the central mass the satellite is orbiting and r is the raadius and w the orbiting rate.
