Take a fraction and then multiply the denomonator to get 100. Then multiply the numerator by the same amount. The number that the numeratorends up as is the percent. For example:

7/20

20 times 5 equals 100

7 times 5 equals 35

Therefore 7/20= 35%

If the numerator doesn't go into 100 equally, multiply by a number that is not an integer. It will still work.

Hope this helps!
