This question is poorly phrased. ppm or parts per million is a measure of the concentration of one element of a solution or gas. Pounds per volume is a measure of density and depends on the materials. The two measure different things and therefore there's no general conversion.
Many are the engineers that are trying to convert ppm in wastewater to actual pounds for reporting purposes. And pounds has more meaning to the average individual than ppm does. Generally speaking, one may take:
(ppm) x (flow of water (gal/"time")) x (conversion factor) = pounds per "time"
In this example, time = 1 month. Therefore, the ppm of a pollutant in water may be converted to pounds by following the following equation: (note: ppm = mg/l)
(mg/l)(gal/mo)(3.7854Lit/gal)(1Lb/453.59g)(1g/1000mg)=Lb/mo
The conversion factor = 8.3454E-06 or 0.0000083454
Above can be simplified as follows:
Monthly Gallons of Chemical x Density of Same Chemical in "Pounds/Gallon" x (# of Parts/1,000,000) (Unitless) = ...Pounds per month
If Unknown, Density = Specific Gravity x 8.345, i.e., Water Weight in Pounds per Gallon
Above both methods assume that PPMV value is in relation to the total volume of solvent or chemical used and not necessarily the total volume of inlet or outlet air of a process equipment. For PPMv of the outlet or inlet air, the calculations will be different as provided in EPA's AP-42 Conversion Table along with the use of air fuel ratio in case of combustion process.
Good luck!
400ppm
Multiply by 10,000: 0.5 x 10,000 = 5,000 ppm
to convert milligram per liter to percentage, multiply by 10000 Explanation one milligram per liter is 1 ppm 10000 ppm is 1 percentage
1000 ppm = 1 ppb I think equation to convert ppm to ppb is: 1 ppm = 1000 ppb, or 1 ppb = 1/1000 ppm * * * * * Wrong way around, I am afraid. 1000 parts per billion is 1 ppm. To convert ppb to ppm divide by 1000.
130 parts per million is 0.00013 = 0.013 percentof any quantity.
Ppm stands per parts per million. There are 1,000,000 micrograms in a gram. Therefore micrograms per gram is already ppm.

You cant...Coz its not a ratio...You can find number of moles, weight, and etc but not ppm bcoz ppm is termed from composition
0.016 ounce
400ppm
Multiply by 10,000: 0.5 x 10,000 = 5,000 ppm
Ppm is parts per million. This is more commonly, milligrams per litre. To convert this to micrograms per metre cubed, you multiply by 1,000,000. 32593.86*1000000 is 32,593,860,000 micrograms per metre cubed.
No. ppm is a pure number - a ratio. g per kwh is a measure of mass per energy with dimensions: [L-2][T2]
One Tablespoon of chlorine bleach per gallon of water will give you 200 parts per million PPM. Health Department requires 50 PPM.
The simple answer to this question is you can't. The measurement ml is a liquid measurement with ml meaning milliliters whilst PPM refers to Pages Per Minute and generally refers to the printing speed of a printer.
ppm means parts per million; percent basically means parts per hundred. Therefore, to convert from ppm to percent you should divide by 10,000.
to convert milligram per liter to percentage, multiply by 10000 Explanation one milligram per liter is 1 ppm 10000 ppm is 1 percentage
