The room can be any number of sizes. The floor area is always length times width, or how long and how wide to equal one thousand square feet. For instance: 20 ft by(x) 50 ft gives 1000 sq ft. 30 ft by 33 1/3 is a 1000 sq ft. or 40 by 25 and so on. Decide how wide or long you desire the room then divide that into 1000 and you will find the necessary length of the other wall, which gives you 1000 sq ft.
