perimeter of a semi circle= Diameter x Pi (3.14... etc.)

then divide it by 2.

then add the value of the diameter to the answer.

there may be a quicker way but i just figured this way out using the how to find the circumference of a circle...and yea.

i hope this helps :/ ahaha

If the base of a semicircle is a feet What is its perimeter?

The circumference of a circle = 2π r = π a (where a is the base of the semicircle and is also the diameter of the circle) The perimeter of the semicircle = half the perimeter of the circle + the base length The perimeter of the semicircle = πa/2 + a = a(1 + π /2) feet

How do you find the perimeter of a shape that has a semicircle?

To find the perimeter of the curved section of the semi-circle: Perimeter of semicircle = Pi x radius If you also need to the find the perimeter of the straight part of the semicircle (the diameter), it is simply double the radius.

What is the formula of a semicircle in perimeter?

The perimeter of a semicircle with radius R is pi*R + 2*R = R*(pi + 2)

What is the perimeter of a semicircle with radius 8cm?

A semicircle is half a circle. So the perimeter of a semicircle is half the circumference of the whole circle plus the diameter, which is twice the radius: perimeter = 1/2 x 2{pi}r + 2r perimeter ~= 3.14x8 + 2x8 ~= 41.13cm

Perimeter of a semicircle when the Diameter is 8?

Perimeter of a semicircle is the length of the half-circle plus the diameter. The whole circle would have a length of diameter times pi, but since it's only half... Perimeter of semicircle = (1/2*pi*D) + D

What is the perimeter of a semicircle that is 5 inches?

The answer will depend on what measure of the semicircle is 5 inches: its radius or diameter.

How do you calculate the radius of s semicircle?

Calculating the radius of a semicircle depends on what information about the semicircle is given.

How do we find a perimeter of a semicircle?

It is its diameter plus half of its circumference

How do you figure the perimeter of a semicircle if the the straight side is 36?

Consider the straight side as the diameter of a circle, find the circumference of the circle, calculate half the circumference and then add it to the diameter. circumference = pi x diameter = 3.14 x 36 = 113.04 perimeter of semicircle = 1/2 circumference + 36 = 56.52 + 36 = 92.52

How do you find the perimeter of a semicircle if its diameter is 45 cm?

Perimeter of the semicircle including its base: 180/360*pi*45+45 = 115.686 cm rounded to 3 decimal places

What is the perimeter of a semicircle if it's radius is 280 cm?
