You multiply the length times the width of the shape.
LxW=A
the area is 18
area is inside and and perimeter is outline.
To calculate the surface area of a shape find the area of each side, and then, add all of the areas together. The sum of the areas is the surface area.
Calculate the area of the shape. The formula to be used will be different for different shapes.
If the area is that of a circle or a regular polygon (triangle, square, reg pentagon etc) there are formulae that will enable you to do so. If it is any other shape - ellipse, irregular polygon, or worse still a random shape - then the area cannot be found.
the area is 18
be more specific area=base x height perimiter= add all sides together
it is the area of a solid object times by the square root of the perimiter
The only shape that can do that is a circle.Circumference = 24.Diameter = 24/piRadius = 12/piArea = pi R2 = 144/pi = 45.837
area is inside and and perimeter is outline.
you times the width by the length of the shape

perimiter
just the area around the outside of it so think of the perimiter and add the area so just measure the area and perimiter and add them 2gether
If the area is that of a circle or a regular polygon (triangle, square, reg pentagon etc) there are formulae that will enable you to do so. If it is any other shape - ellipse, irregular polygon, or worse still a random shape - then the area cannot be found.
It is actually impossible to work out the square root of a shape but you can work out the square roots of the interior and exterior angles, the area and the perimiter
