Here's an example: If you have 8/3, and you want it as a mixed number, you see how many times 3 can go into 8 (In this case, 2) and how many are left over (2).So now it would be 2 2/8 = 2 1/4

**Remember that you can only change a fraction when the numerator is bigger than the denominator

So 8 divided by 3...Is 2

How many left over from division?....(2) 2 2/?

Always use the numerator....2 2/8 Simplify
