How do you do a mutiblication problem?

Multiplication is the repeated adding of a number. For example, 2 x 3 would be the same as 2+2+2. Or 5 x 10 would be the same as 5+5+5+5+5+5+5+5+5+5. Also, there's some tricks to it: Any number times 1 is itself, like 5 x 1 would be 5, and anything times 0 is 0. So you can look at 5 x 10 as 5 x 1 and 5 x 0, just keep the numbers where they started off. 5 x 0 would be in the ones place, so just 0, and 5 x 1 would be in the tens place, so 50. Add them together, and it would of course, be 50 (50+0) :)
