A general plan would follow something like:-

Identify both the start point of the problem, and the end-point also.

Divide the material in between into a number of simple steps, and solve for them individually.

Be aware of any feedback loops in the problem, and of any non-terminating iterations. (Called 'do-loops') These may be trouble.

Deal with any alternate paths that are available between the start point and the finish point.

[A sample problem would be to plot a path between two points in a city. Do-loops would be going round and round the same block. Alternate paths are obvious, though only a few of them tend towards the shortest. ]

What is analytical problem?

There is no commonly agreed-upon definition of "analytical problem solving." Those are three independent words with definitions of their own; combining them merely combines the definitions of the three. However, there are some educators and business trainers who use the title Analytical Problem Solving for a course they teach. http://www.Colorado.edu/conflict/peace/treatment/anps.htm

Can you provide an example of a non-analytical approach to problem-solving?

A non-analytical approach to problem-solving involves relying on intuition, creativity, or trial and error rather than using systematic reasoning or data analysis. For example, when faced with a complex math problem, a non-analytical approach might involve guessing the answer or trying different methods without a clear strategy.

What is the best approach to solving an analytical problem efficiently and effectively?

The best approach to solving an analytical problem efficiently and effectively is to first clearly define the problem, gather relevant data and information, analyze the data using appropriate methods and tools, and then develop and evaluate potential solutions. It is important to be systematic, logical, and open-minded in the process, and to consider different perspectives and possible outcomes. Additionally, effective communication and collaboration with others can help in generating innovative solutions and reaching a successful resolution.
