One way to do prime factorization is to start with any two factor pairs of a number and keep factoring the numbers until you have all prime factors. For example: 370

Two factors of 370 are 2 and 185.

2 x 185

2 x 5 x 37

Since all the factors are now prime, 2 x 5 x 37 is the prime factorization of 185.
