I'm not sure of what you mean but I might have an idea.

You can think of negative as money such as I owed you $5 so I would be at -5 but when I payed you back I would be at 0, but if I payed you a dollar extra you would be at -1 [ do you understand:(]

Positive is very simple it is how you learned to count.

When you have 2 positives or two negatives you go up towards the positives, but if you ave a positive and a negative you go down towards the negatives

Hope this works

What is the sign for multiplication and addition?

If you multiply two numbers, the result will be positive, if both factors are positive, or if both are negative. Multiplying a positive number by a negative number, or a negative number by a positive number, results in a negative result. For addition, if you add two positive numbers, the result is positive. If you add two negative numbers, the result is negative. If you add a positive and a negative number, the result depends on which of the numbers has the greater absolute value. For example, if the positive number has the greater absolute value (distance from zero), the result will be positive. If you multiply two numbers, the result will be positive, if both factors are positive, or if both are negative. Explain how you can find the sign of the product of two or more rational numbers?

Negative times negative equals positive. Positive times positive equals positive. Positive times negative equals negative. If you have more than two numbers, multiply the first two and then apply these rules to each successive number in turn.

What is the product of two negative and three positive numbers?

It is positive. Any product of an even number of negative numbers will be positive, regardless of how many positive numbers you have. Similarly any product of an odd number of negative numbers will be negative, regardless of how many positive numbers you have.

How is a negative integer less then any positive integer?

Because positive numbers are to the right of negative numbers on the number line. If you have two numbers, one the negative of the other, and you add the positive to the negative, you get zero. If you add the positive to zero, you get a positive number. So positive numbers are an increase from zero, which is an increase from negative numbers. A negative number may have a greater absolute value than a positive number, but it will always be less than a positive number.
