You first, just like the normal tens like 165

5 = Units

6 = Tens

1 = Hundreds

After you move on to decimal. Then you Put the decimal here. 1.65

If it was only 1.6 it would mean (in fraction)60/100.

That's how you find the place value of decimals :D
