Solve for y.

-x + 2y = 3 add x to both sides

2y = x + 3 divide by to both sides

y = (1/2)x + 3/2 y-intercept is 3/2 or 1.5, so you have one point (0, 1.5)

Set y = 0 to find the x-intercept.

-x + 2(0) = 3

-x = 3

x = -1 so you have another point (-1, 0).

Plot these points and draw a straight line that passes through them.

Or, plot the point (0, 1.5) and you can find as many points as you want by using the slope, 1/2.
