Always remember the formula "y=mx+b"

To graph a linear equation:

1) Let's use "y=2x+1" as an example

2) Draw a graph, with the quadrant #1 X and Ys (all positive)

3) Okay, first start with the y-intercept, or b by going 1 above the origin and putting a dot

4) Then go up 2 more, and 1 to the right and put a 2nd dot there

5) Make a straight line between the two dots you hopefully created
