x-7 can also be written as two different functions: y=x-7 and x=y+7

So, when x=0, y=-7. And, when y=0, x=7.

Since there is not any fractions in front of x in the function y=x-7, for every positive move one space on the x-axis, you would move one positive space on the y-axis. Conversely, for every negative move you make on the x-axis, you would move one negative move on the y-axis.

So mapping on a graph paper with x,y - axis would be like this for y=x-7:

-positive x-axis:

(0,-7), (1,-6), (2,-5), (3,-4), and so forth. Or: when x=0, y=-7, and when x=1, x=-6, and when x=2, y=-5, and when x=3, y=-4, and so forth.

On the negative x-axis, reverse the numbers and subtract by one:

(-1,-8), (-2,-9), (-3, -10), and so forth.

Depends on where the parentheses are. X(7-4) + X7 + 4 = 10X + 4 X(7-4) + X(7+4) = 14X

x7 is the same as 7x. However, x^7 is significantly different from 7x

X1 is taller and little bigger but x7 is faster.

There is a formula for the "difference of squares." In this case, the answer is (x7 - 7)(x7 + 7)
