5 goes into 10 twice

so your answer would be 2 wholes.

Another example could be 22/7

7 goes into 22 3 times.

so right there you have 3 wholes.

but when 7 goes into 22 3 times, you still have 1 left over.

So what do you do?

You put 1/7

So your answer would be

3 and 1/7th
