Try the release just to the left of the centre of the bonnet. Otherwise use a crow bar on it to 'gently' lift it
There may be an open bonnet. The bonnet may not have been closed properly, as can happen.
Release the main bonnet catch on the steering wheel column. Push the bonnet catch in the front grill once and it'll come out half way, then pull the half out catch to open the bonnet.
Pull the bonnet lever which is on the left hand or passanger side, you will see the bonnet lift slightly. Once this has been completed go to the front of the bonnet and lift the bonnet a bit more. You will see a small lt shaped handle protrude from the left of the grill, pull this and the bonnet will unclip. Voila !

go to the ford badge on the front of the car , slide it up from the right ,insert your car key turn once to the left then turn to the right and the bonnet will open

get another person to pull the handle, and thump the bonnet/hood at the front in the middle, but not hard enough to dent the metal. If the catch is just a bit stucky due to lack of use this should shake the bonnet open. Then lubricate the mechanism, and open it more than once a year!

Open the door with your key and pull the bonnet release.
Open the passenger door and look up to the left in the footwell. Here you will see the release lever. Pull it backwards then go to the front of the vehicle and slip your fingers underneath the partly released bonnet feeling for a small lever. When you find it push it up and lift the bonnet open.
