What solution can you use to recrystalize a Mn-salen complex?

You can try usind cold ethanol. In seems to work with the other Salen complexes.

Can crack recrystalize in the body and come out through the skin?

No, it is quickly broken down (metabolized) to other chemicals and excreted from the body in the urine.

Why is it necessary to carry out recrystallization near the boiling point of the solvent?

well if you don't re crystilize near the boiling point you will most certainly loose your solute to the glass ware as vapours. if you recrystalize you will remove and separate the components more effectively.

What is the environment of quartzite?

Quartzite is a Metamorphic Rock that undergos extreme heat and pressure forcing pre-existing rocks to recrystalize. It forms through contact metamorphism. It's formed at an igneous intrusion cutting through existing rock in a small area; usually along cooled igneus intrusions.

How do you re-rock?

It depends on whether it was dissolved in water or just crushed up. If it was dissolved in water, it should re-crystalize as the water evaporates. If it was crushed up, aside from dissolving it in water and waiting for it to evaporate off, or melting it in a glass pipe and letting it recrystalize, there's no other way that I can think of to return it to its rock form.

Which types of rocks are not metamorphic rocks?

Sedimentary and Igneous rocks are not metamorphic rocks. Metamorphic rocks however are igneous or sedimentary rocks that have undertaken metamorphism (In extreme heat and/or pressure the minerals are forced to recrystalize) and become metamorphic rocks. If the heat/pressure causes the rock to melt into liquid rock than it is no longer metamorphi, it is igneous. Hope this helps :)

How can you make a supersaturated solution with sugar?

This kind of technique is used in making fudge, and is very important. You don't want crunchy fudge, do you :) First, you will need sugar (any kind will do), and some hot water or other solvent, but I would use water. So do you know that hot water dissolves more solute than cold water? Well, you then saturate the hot water with the sugar, and SLOWLY (slow is very important) cool down the sugar water mixture. Also, DO NOT AGITATE IT. For example, soda is a super saturated solution, it's super saturated with carbon dioxide. If you shake the soda can (agitating it), the carbon dioxide will separate from the rest of the soda, which causes the (highly entertaining) explosion of soda following. If you agitate it, the sugar will recrystalize and you will have to start over. Now, if it is cooled down fast enough, it will become super saturated, and won't recrystalize. Hope this helped!

What causes looper lines in drawn aluminum?

Looper lines or also known as "roping" in aluminum is a form of "surface roughening" which occurs during deep drawing or drawing and ironing operations. The origin of looper lines occur during ingot casting, homogenization and rolling practices. The coarse grain structure are formed during the hot rolling or intermediate annealing when drawn into fine "fiber" like structure during temper rolling. In annealed sheets, if these fibers fail to recrystalize, the fibers can produce looper lines. Looper lines also can form because of segregated constituent or solute. If the coarse grains with segregation persist the reheating, this can produce looper lines.

Why is benzoic acid is extracted into ether then extracted into an alkali solution prior to being precipitated with strong acid in its preparation with grignard reagent?

When you're attempting to extract benzoic acid from other organic compounds, it is necessary to change its pH by adding a layer of an basic compound such as 1M NaOH so that the benzoic acid then can be separated from the organic layer within a separatory funnel. When in NaOH, the benzoic acid loses a proton and thus becomes its conjugate base (the benzoate ion). The benzoate ion is charged and thus become miscible in the aqueous layer. To extract benzoic acid (ie get it to precipitate out of solution), a strong acid such as HCl must be added to solution. After the extraction, lower the pH of the solution, and recrystalize (use ice after the recrystalization to get benzoic acid crystals to crash out).

How is methamphetamine weighed for sale?

meth is messeasured in grams as with all other drugs. you usually use a digital scale. usually costs around 45-50 dollars a gram. but meth will kill you, trust me ive been around it my entire life. Actually, $45 a gram is cheap. Phoenix Street Prices: 1/4 gram-$20, 1/2 gram-$35, 1 gram-$60. 8-ball-$160 (1/4 oz). There are 3 grades of meth available, so Quality has a bearing on price-these are starting prices. According to Lepidus, Quality has to do with both the ingredients and the process to manufacture the stuff and, of course, the amount of "cut". Since you can add the cut and recrystalize, looking at a shard is not indicative of quality.
