How do you regroup and estimate in multiplacation?

for example say your multiplacation was 1,467 x 4 first you do 4 x 7 then 4 x 6 then 4 x 4 then 4 x 1 and its the same thing as regroping in addition but multiplacatoin if this does nothelp you then try putting how do you regroup?
