n = m mod p means that: m - [m/p] x p = n where [] denotes the floor function or rounding to the lower integer. If familiar with this notation, then any number can be converted to another through molulo. Ex: 3589 degrees (rotation) is really 349 degrees because 3589 mod 360 = 349.
