Greatest means largest. Choose the largest number of all three.

Examples:

145, 67, and 212

It might be easier to put them in order. The smallest is 67 because it does not have a digit in the hundreds place. The middle one is 145 because it has a 1 in the hundreds place, which is less than the 2 that 212 has in the hundreds place. The largest is 212.

1932, 1011, and 1925

They all have a 1 in the thousands place, so look at the hundreds place. 1011 has a 0 in the hundreds place, so it is the smallest. Both 1932 and 1925 have a 9 in the hundreds place, so look at the tens place. Since 3 is greater than 2, 1932 is larger than 1925. The largest is 1932.

0.12, 0.56, and 0.34

They all have a 0 in the ones place, so look at the tenths place. Since 5 is larger than 1 and 3, it is the largest decimal. The largest is 0.56.
