This is a little hard to explain without being able to draw a diagram.
The Distributive Property applies to an expression like 3(5x + 2). This means that the whole of the binomial (5x + 2) is multiplied by 3. To do this you have to multiply 5x by 3 and also multiply 2 by 3, so it looks like this:
3(5x + 2) = 3(5x) + 3(2).
Notice that the 3 is "distributed" (spread out) over the two terms inside the parentheses. Continuing the example, simplify to get 15x + 6.
what is commutative and distributed property mean
will
A living will
An estate is closed after all the provisions in the Will have been executed. It remains a public document forever to show how the property was distributed and how title to property was transferred. An estate is closed after all the provisions in the Will have been executed. The DISTRIBUTIVE (not distributed) property is a property of multiplication over addition (OR subtraction). In its simplest form, if x, y and z are three numbers then, according to the distributive property of multiplication over addition, x*(y + z) = x*y + x*z
In a free market economy, goods and resources are distributed by property and supply/demand.
