The author of Matthew's Gospel was quite familiar with the Greek version of the Hebrew scriptures (the Septuagint) and frequently made good use of passages in those scriptures to foreshadow passages he wrote in his gospel. However, there is no clear and direct relationship between Matthew 28 (The two women went to the sepulchre and were met by an angel who told them Jesus was risen. They met Jesus as they went to tell the disciples. Meanwhile the elders bribed the guards to say that the disciples had taken Jesus' body. Finally, Jesus met the disciples at a mountain in Galilee and sent them to teach his gospel to all nations.) and Genesis 12 (God sent Abram to Canaan, saying he would make of him a great nation. Abram built an altar near Bethel and continued south to Egypt, as there was a famine in the land. Abram told the pharaoh that Sarai was his sister, and the pharaoh tried to seduce her before discovering that she was also Abram's wife.).
A rather strained correlation can be found between Matthew 28 and Revelation 7. At least Revelation 7 has angels, as in Matthew 28, and the references to the 'Lamb' are generally taken as references to Jesus. It is normal in Bible study to exaggerate any parallels, so this chapter can be interpreted as an implied reference to the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus.

Opinions: The woman mentioned in chapter 12 of Revelation is thought to be Israel who brought forth the Christ child and King Herod is thought to be the dragon. ( Matthew 2:16 ) Revelation is a prophecy ( Revelation 1:3 )
According to the Bible, works are absolutely necessary for salvation, without them faith is dead. See Ezekiel 33:12-19; James 2:14; James 2:17-18; James 2:20; James 2:22; James 2:24; James 2:26. In addition, final judgment (as to whether you are saved and go to heaven or damned to hell) is *always* associated with works: see Matthew 5:22; Matthew 7:16-27, Matthew 10:22; Matthew 16:27; Matthew 18:8-9; Matthew 25:14-30; Matthew 25:31-46; Luke 3:9; Luke 14:13-14; Luke 21:34-36; John 5:26-29; Romans 1:18; Romans 2:5-13; 1 Corinthians 3:8-9; 2 Corinthians 5:10; 1 Thessolonians 3:12-13, 1 Thessolonians 5:23; 2 Thessalonians 1:7-12; Hebrews 6:7-8; 1 Peter 1:17; 1 Peter 4:13; 2 Peter 3:10-14; Jude 6-16; Jude 20-21; Revelation 2:5; Revelation 2:23; Revelation 20:11-13; Revelation 21:8; Revelation 22:12.
