Over heating can be on account of many reasons. You must check all the following to be sure: check radiator hoses, radiator, fans , and water pump. If any of these 1 things or more are leaking or have stopped working it will cause your car to over heat. Drive your car for about 15 minutes and then get out and look under your car. If you see any coolant or water leaking something needs to be replaced. If you smell a sweet scent and see a green fluid under the car its the coolant. Take your car for a diagnostic test at Pep Boys or any auto place to find out for sure which one of the above is causing it. These tests are not that expensive. I paid about $35 for mine.
