There are no "feet" in acres.

"Feet" means distance from one point to another, like the length of a piece of rope

or a car trip. "Acre" means area covered by a surface, like the amount of carpet to

cover the floor of a room, or the amount of land needed to produce a million bushels

of corn. The two units measure different types of things, and they can't be converted

to each other.

1 acre = 43,560 square feet (not feet)

1/2 acre = 21,780 square feet
