According to theplasticshop Perspex website they say:

"By using the specific gravity of PERSPEX sheet (1.19) you can use the following simple formula to work out the weight of any given sheet size:

Length (in metres) x Width (in metres) x Thickness (in mm) x 1.19 = Weight in kg"

So before you can calculate the weight of 1 square metre - you will also need to know the thickness - and then you will be able to apply their calculation.
