It depends on the type of investment you are making. I typically invest in tax sales, I generally can triple my money with tax deeds in about 4 weeks, but it all depends on how much money you have as well. For example, if you have $300 I know of a county in Kansas that can make you $3,000, or 10x your investment, but I know of other investments that can make you from 5%-25% return on your money.
