68 feet = 816 inches, and 816/16 = 51 tiles will fit along that length. Along the other length of the floor, the tiles won't fit evenly; they will have to be cut. 81 feet = 972 inches, and 972/16 = 60.75. Two choices:

(1) Only use 60 tiles across that length of the room, but there will be empty space. That means 51*60 = 3060 tiles will fill the entire floor.

(2) Fill the emtpy space with an extra row of tiles that are cut to a smaller size. So round up 60.75 to 61 which means you'll need 51*61 = 3111 tiles.

How many 16 by 16 floor tiles to cover 200 sq feet?

Assuming the tiles are 16 inches square:200 square feet = 200 x 12 x 12 = 28,800 square inches.The tiles are 16 x 16 = 256 square inches.28,800 / 256 = 112.5So you would need a minimum of 113 tiles, not allowing for any that would need cutting at the edges of the room.

If a room is 17 feet long by 15 feet wide how many 13 inch tiles will I need to lay on the floor.?

If the tiles are 13 in square, an unusual size, there will be 16 one way and 14 the other (ignoring fractions of a tile) so you need 224 tiles.

How many 16 inch tiles would you need for a 483 square foot room?

16" by 16" = 1.77... sq ft 483 sq feet / 1.77... sq ft = 271.69 So you would need at least 272 tiles. However, that is the mathematical answer for a well shaped room. In real life you should make allowance for breakages and the fact that not all the offcuts may be suitable for use.
