Hmm, my answer does not agree with others listed below here, however here is what I got and how...

you would need 117.3 tiles plus a recommended 10% for breakage or a total of 129 tiles.

This is how I come by that answer.

18 by 18 is 324 square Inches (Sqin)

264 Square Feet = 38016 Sqin.

38016 sqin divided by 324 sqin tiles equals 117.33 tiles.

my younger brother (former contractor) insists that tile tends to break and a 10% margin of error should be planned for. thus 118 (round to next whole tile) times 110% equals 129 pieces of tile 18x18.
