6,144 tiles !
256 tiles
256 sq in = 1.7777 sq ft ea X 56 tiles = 115.55 sq ft area to cover
256 tiles
224 x 144 = 32,256 / 256 (16 x 16) = 126 16 x 16 tiles.
each tile is 16x 16 = 256 sq in = 256/144 = 1.78 sq ft 437/1.78 = 246 tiles
Assuming the tiles are 16 inches square:200 square feet = 200 x 12 x 12 = 28,800 square inches.The tiles are 16 x 16 = 256 square inches.28,800 / 256 = 112.5So you would need a minimum of 113 tiles, not allowing for any that would need cutting at the edges of the room.
if tiles are 15 inch x 15 inch that is 225 sq in400 sq ft = 400x 144 = 57600 sq inyou need 57600/225 = 256 tiles
To cover 345 square feet with 16x16 tiles , you need at least 195 tiles (194 and 1/16 exactly). 345 square feet x 144 square inches/sq ft = 49680 square inches 16 x 16 = 256 square inches per tile 49680 / 256 = 194.0625 It could take more because you may have to use large fractional tiles on edges, and some may break.
16x16 square feet = 256 square feet, so two tiles will suffice.
256
16*16=256 sq ft -that is one large tile!!! 335/256=1.03... so you will need two tiles??? You might want to rephrase this question because I've never heard of a 16X16 square feet tile.
Each 16" x 16" tile equals 256 sq inches. There are 144 sq inches in a foot. If you divide 256 by 144 each tile equals 1.78 sq ft. To cover 282 sf you would need 159 tiles. However, there is always waste. You should add 5-10% for cuts, mistakes, broken & chipped tiles. So add at least 10 to 15 pieces to your order.
