Until a few years ago, there used to be a voluntary limit that the broadcasters agreed to observe.
But I think that's gone out the window. Now, it's as many as they can sell and get away with before
viewers/listeners start to complain.
If its a full hour of commercials 120, if it in brakes (usually last 3-5 minutes) 24- 40ish's
1 hour = 3600 seconds, so in theory 3600/30 = 120 times. That would be one boring hour! And would probably put more people off the product that attract them!
