This is a nonsense question.. Whatever school you go to, it is not giving you a very good mathematics education. Meter ! (correct spelling in every country except USA, is Metre) A Metre is a unit of length(and breadth, and width and depth and height and diameter) A 'cent' is a unit of money (100 cent= $1) I can only assume that your question should have been :- How many Square Metre of Area is a rectangle measuring 29.5 Metre X5.5 Metre? The answer to that question is 162.25 Square Metre. Perhaps you do not know that 1Metre is equal to 100 Centimetre, and also equal to 1000 Millimetre. Using this website to learn facts and solve problems is a very bad idea. Many of the answers given are very often quite incorrect. There are too many people who think they know the answers but they are actually very badly educated. You may like to know that I have been a teacher of Secondary School mathematics for more than 20 years, in Australia where we converted to the Metric system of units more than 40 years ago. We also spell the words Metre , Kilometre , Centimetre , Millilitre , etc. , the same way as the entire scientific world and all countries except USA! I wonder when USA wil follow the rest of the world and adopt the simple, logical , easy to learn, Metric system?
