Like animals, different plants have different chromosome counts - they don't all have the same number of chromosomes.
A plant cell have 24 chromosomes, that have been proved in univen laboratory
it is different in different plants. for example haplopappus has 4 chromosomes and allium cepa has 16 chromosomes

Much like animals, different types of plants have different amounts of chromosomes. Some have 12, 24, or 50. It just depends on the plant.
