It all depends how big your cups are!
There are 1000 litres in one cubic metre. One litre of water weighs 1 kilogram so one cubic metre weighs 1000 kg = 1 metric tonne. Neat eh?
Back to the cups... one American cup is approximately 0.237 litres so two American cups is 0.474 litres
Finally 0.474 litres = 0.000474 cubic metres or written another way 4.74 x 10-4 cubic metres.
So I think I would stick to the cups (or litres) rather than cubic metres! Much easier it is really about finding the most appropriate units for the task at hand.
2 cubic km equals 2,000,000,000 cubic meters.
2 cubic meters of volume = 2 million cubic centimeters
1-2 cubic meters in a foot1 cubic foot = 0.0283168466 cubic meters
Two cubic meters equals 2000L
2 million cubic meters equates to 2,000,000,000(2 billion) liters.* cubic meters x 1,000 = liters
8 cu m
2,000,000 cu cm
120 cubic metres.
There are 1000 cubic decimetres in one cubic metre. Therefore, 2 cubic decimetres is equal to 2 x 1000 = 2000 cubic decimetres.
None, All the dirt has been removed from the hole.
64 cubic metres
The volume of 4 meters by 2 meters by 12 centimeters is 4 meters x 2 meters x 0.12 meters, or 0.96 cubic meters. That's just a bit less than a cubic meter.
