2 cups of peaches are in one pound. im only a sixth grader and i know this!!!
Not quite true, sixth grader--you were answering a math question--I think this is a cooking question--depending on the size of the peaches-you can get 2-4 sliced peaches in a pound. This is important when making pies and jams. I suggest buying peaches that are about the same size-peel and slice one then place in cup measure-that will help--

Sorry, your question is wrong. Fluid ounces are used for measuring in cups. Ounces are used for pounds. There are 16 OUNCES in a pound. Note: Fluid ounces are not used for pounds. Fluid ounces are for capacity, and regular ounces are for weight.
1 1/2 cups + 1 1/2 cups = 3 cups.

20% of 2 cups = 2 cups*20/100 = 0.4 cups.
I found a pdf from University of Illinois Extension that states that one pound of fresh peaches equals... 2-3 medium peaches 2 cups sliced 1 1/2 cups pureed So if I reverse logic and do the math right, then 2 cups sliced is 1 pound and 4 cups sliced would be 2 pounds... So, 4 cups. Right?
