It would be unwise to put essential oil droops up your nose, as essential oils are usually 90% petroleum and it could do damage to your brain in even small amounts. It is not worth it.

Hi I am puzzled by the statement that essential oils are 90% petroleum. Essential oils should only be purchased that are 100% pure unless diluted in a carrier oil where the dilution should be clearly stated. White Camphor oil should be used with great caution due to it's high ketone content. Ketones are chemical compounds which are neuro - toxic. This means that they can have detrimental effects on the nervous system like epileptic fits. Camphor is best avoided completely without the guidance of a trained aromatherapist Essential oils should never be applied directly to the mucous membranes of the nose either neat or diluted. Use other safer oils in a steam inhalation or 1-2 drops neat on a handkerchief.
