Pixels are just the tiny dots that form images, they are not a form of distance measurement. To demostrate this, take for example a 40 in. TV. That 40 inch TV might contain 1920 x 1080 pixels to make up the screen, but likewise, a computer screen that is only 20 in. can also have the same amount of pixels.

A pixel is the smallest area in a digital image. It does not have a unique size, it depends on the amount of detail specified for that image.
It depends how big the pixels are.
Many computer screens are formatted such that 72 pixels is 1 inch: So 600 pixel / (72 pixel/inch) = 8.3333 inches in that format.
