Usually a 5 sided does have 5 sides. Although we don't have confirmation whether this is true in alternate universes.
For example a 4 sided would have 4 sides.
the shape has 1 side of symmetry
540 degrees total degrees in shape = (( 180 x number of sides of shape) - 360)
There are 540 degrees in a five sided figure.
A five-sided polygon is called a "pentagon."
A triangle by definition only has 3 sides, so a 5-sided triangle does not exist - unless you are including the in-side and out-side of it as two more sides. A five sided polygon is a pentagon.
A five sided polygon is called a pentagon because pentagon means five sided polygon I think.
An irregular pentagon I think... :)
Not sure about a five sided shap, but a five sided plane shape is called a pentagon.
No. A five sided shape is a pentagon. A hexagon has six sides.
All pentagons have five sides.
A pentagon is a five-sided polygon, which means that it has five corners. There are other types of polygons, including hexagon (six-sided), heptagon (seven-sided), octagon (eight-sided; like a stop sign), nonagon (nine-sided), and decagon (ten-sided).
