The area of a circle is equal to pi times the square of the Radius.

Pi is equal to 3.14.

pi X R2 = AREA

If a circle has a 16' diameter. Half the diameter, 8' is the radius.

The calculation for the area of this circle is:

3.14 X 8 X 8 = 201 SQUARE FEET

thus:

assuming the 180' of the circle is the diameter (i think that's what you were asking)

180/2=90=radius

3.14*90*90=25434 sq ft
