You cannot use square feet to determine how much heat is required or vice versa. A Manual J heat load calculation must be performed to determine the total heat loss of any given space.
how many square feet does a 14,000 btu heater heat
It depends on your enviornment. A 36,000 BTU unit will probably work just fine. 36,000 btu's would heat a 1,000 square foot room. or more.
51210 Btu's in 15kw heat strip. 3.414 * 15000= 51210
50,000 btu
36000 Btu
Btu and cubic meter are two different measuring units. Btu is the unit for heat transmission, like in ac units 12000 btu/hr. It means this ac unit would remove 12000 btu of heat from the room in one hour. where as cubic meter is the unit for volume.
A 200,000 BTU wood burning stove will heat 1,000 square feet.
Burning Stove - 110,000 BTU How many square feet?
A HVAC contractor would be the best person to ask this question to because they need to run something called a heat load calculation to determine the BTU number for your home.
80,000 btus (british thermal units) should heat up 3,500 square feet
While heat can easily be converted to Watts, you would not be able to determine the heat conversion if given just the amps.
About 90 percent of an incandescent bulb's energy is turned into heat; one watt is 3.41 btu/hr, so 10 watts would be about 3 btu per hour.
