If the floor is a straight forward floor with no cuts or glitches it would go faster, but if there are many cuts and glitches it will go slower. You would also have to account for lunch and coffee breaks. Then you would have to factor in 'thin-set' mixing time. Of course, it would also depend on whether the home owner wants a professional job or a sloppy job. I would estimate that he could lay between 25 - 150 square feet (on average about 50-75).
