the basis of my answer is by using the formula Height x Width

for example you are 5 feet tall then you multiply it by your width which is somewhat 3 feet

5*3=15

for an adult person it is APPROX. 20 SQUARE FEET.

The average adult person has about 22 square feet, or 3168 square inches of skin on their body. This ends up weighing about eight pounds. Humans shed about 40,000 skin cells each minute, and the skin completely renews itself about once every 35 days.
