If I understand the question, it would be once.

I understand the situation to mean that if you had two footballs of the same size and rolled one around the middle of the other, how many times would you see the laces straight up basically (how many rotations)?

Since the radii are the same it would just go through one rotation, covering its circumference in distance and since this is the circumference of the other ball it would be finished rotating. It's hard to show without a picture.

Is equatorial circumference the same as radius?

No. The circumference is the distance around a circle or equaltor wheras the radius is the distance from the centre of a sphere (the centre of the earch if you will) to the surface. the diameter is twice the distance of the radius and is the distance from the surface of a sphere, through the middle point across to the other surface.

How do you figure out circumference and radius?

The radius of a circle is from the middle to the edge, or half the diameter. The circumference is like the perimeter of the circle, and the formula is pi times the diameter.

What is the circumference of a pencil?

the circumference of a pencil depends on its size. Also, to a certain degree of accuracy. if you want to know the circumference of the pencil with the lead inside, measure the line exactly in the middle of the circle at the bottom of the pencil and times your answer by pi. Hope this helps :s

What is the measurement of diameter of a circle?

The diameter is the distance from one side of the circle, through the middle, and to the other side. It is a straight line. It is equal to The circumference (the distance around the circle) divided by pi (about 3.1415926536)

What is the polar circumference of the earth?

The polar circumference (logitudinal circumference) of the Earth is about 40,008 kilometers (24,860 miles). The equatorial circumference of the Earth is about 40,075 kilometers (24,901 miles).More Precisely:Earth is not a perfect sphere, but is an oblate spheroid, .336% flattened along the North-South axis. As a consequence, a line of longitude wrapped around the Earth going through the north and south poles is about 24,860 miles, or 40,008 km long. The circumference of the Earth at the equator is about 24,901 miles, or 40,075 km. That makes the Earth's circumference about 41 miles, or a bit more than 67 km larger around its middle than around its poles.Caveat: The numbers for circumference are necessarily slightly approximate because the surface of the Earth is irregular (mountains, valleys, etc.) so different estimates of circumference may differ by a mile (or kilometer) or so. In addition, though the equator is a well defined line, the polar circumference can be different depending on the line of longitude and that adds additional variability.

What is the average girth of a man?

Somewhere between four and five inches circumference. Measured around the middle of the penis (lengthwise) using a tape measure

What is the relationship between the Radius to the circumference?

The circumference is ALL the way around the circle, while the radius is only HALF way into the middle of the circle. I'm guessing you meant "What is the relationship between the radius of a circle and its circumference?" Radius is half of the diameter of a circle, circumference is PI times diameter; therefore, the circumference is PI times two times radius.

How many meters around the world?

Is circumference larger than radius?

Yes it is. Circumference is the whole area of the circle. Radius is from the middle to the side of the circle. Yes it is. The radius it half way across the circle from the center, while the circumference is all the way around the circle. The diameter is all the way across the circle, while being twice the radius. The circumference is about 3.14 times the diameter (or Pi if you prefer).
