1 Gallon=4 Quarts

4 Quarts=8 pints

8 pints=16 cups

I think of it like this its called the Big G.

First you draw a REALLY big G.

Inside of it you draw four Q's.

Inside each Q draw two P's.

In each P draw two C's.

G=Gallon

Q=Quart

P=Pint

C=Cups

This always helps me remember.I can visualize it in my head so I dont always have to write it out unless Im explaining it to anyone else.
