You need the height of the walls to do this. For our case, I'll assume the walls are 8 ft. high (which is the norm.)

You need to find the area of the 4 walls. Area is length * height. So the area of the first pair of opposing walls is 24 * 8 or 192 sq. ft.

The second pair of walls follows the same pattern: 18 * 8 or 144 sq. ft.

We now know the area of both sizes of wall, but only one of each. So, we multiply the area of each by 2, and add those two values together to find our complete area.

192 * 2 + 144 * 2 = 384 + 288 = 672 sq. ft.

If you have a different height than 8 ft, simply replace the 8 value in the orignal equations and follow the process from there.
