From the edge of the vacant place, cut off the odd piece to make it back into a rectangle. Then measure the longest length of the cake that is left and mark the halfway point and cut the remaining cake in half. With the smaller rectangle that was cut off, you could even make pieces to decorate the cake when you frost it. Slice it into 4 slices and place on top of the frosted cake in the corners like a castle, down the middle like a sidewalk; cut into triangles or into circles with a glass. Frost with the same frosting or a different color or a darker shade of chocolate. Or just eat it.
