The locus of all points in space equidistant from a given point?

That's a sphere whose radius is the constant equal distance.

What is a point that is equidistant from all points on a circle?

The center of the circle. That's how the circle is defined. (The collection of all points on a plane equidistant from a fixed point. The fixed point is the center and the fixed distance is the radius.)

What is it called if something is equidistant from the center of the circle?

The radius

If two circles have the same center one with a 3 centimeter radius the other with a 1 centimeter radius What is the equidistant from the two circles?

If you create third circle with radius 2, then all the points on that circle would be equidistant form both circles. So the answer is a circle with radius 2.

What is the center of a circumscribed cirlce of a triangle called?

It is called the circumcenter of the triangle. . The circumcenter is equidistant from the three vertices, and so the common distance is the radius of a circle that passes through the vertices. Another name for it is the circumcircle

Can you draw a circle through the four points of a trapezoid?

Yes, you can draw a circle through the four points of a trapezoid, because the four points of the trapezoid can be equidistant from one point, making that distance the radius.

What are the characteristics of a circle?

A circle is a two-dimensional shape with all points equidistant from its center, forming a closed curve. It has no angles, sides, or vertices. Its main characteristics include radius, diameter, circumference, and area.

How do you mark equidistant points on circle?

It is the radius from the centre to the circumference or the diameter passing through the centre to both sides of the circumference

What is the difference between a circle to an oval?

circle has single center point and is equidistant to point of radius, while oval has four(4) center points with two(2) different radius.

What is the distance from a circle to it's center?

It is called the radius. The full distance is called the diameter.

How can you place 5 points on the surface of a sphere so that any point is equal distance to any other point?

You can't. It is impossible to have five equidistant points on a sphere, with the exception of trivial cases (i.e. where the radius is 0 or when one or more points are equal).
