* Mean = Average (Mean means Average)

You add the set of numbers together and then divide the number of numbers in the set.

For example...

If you had a set of numbers 75, 85, 65, 53 and 77, you add up all the numbers which equals 355. Then you divide 355 by 5 because there is 5 numbers in the example at the top (the 5 numbers are 75, 85, 65, 53 and 77). Your answer will be 71. That's how you do mean in math.
