If I have 1 gold bar, equally divided into 7 pieces as such:

And the answer is that that you can get pieces from workers. So, cut like this

- Monday: pay with 1st piece
- Tuesday: pay with 2nd piece but take back the 1st piece
- Wednesday: pay with 1st piece
- Thursday: pay with the 3rd piece but take back the 1st and 2nd piece
- Friday: pay with 1st piece
- Saturday: pay with 2nd piece but take back the 1st piece
- Sunday: pay with 1st piece
