He's not asking any of that...he means if you need to add for example a supplement to water and the dose is 5ml per 10 gal.....how much is equivalent supplement to 1 gal..the answer is 0.5ML....per gallon....pretend 10 gals is ...... 10.0 and you need 5.0ml......move the decimal 1 space to make 10.0 gal. 1.00....gal..then move the decimal the same in the 5ml... 0.50mL.... after I wrote this out however it felt wrong but it made sense before I typed it...
